This guide explains how Employees and Owners / Managers use the touchscreen system and its main pages.
For Employees
- Login with your username and password.
- Go to Sales to scan barcodes, add items, and process the sale.
- Use the manual barcode entry box when the scanner cannot read a product.
- Review the cart, change item quantities, and click Process Sale to finish.
- Use Receipts to search past sales and confirm each transaction.
- Always click Logout when you finish your shift.
For Owners / Managers
- Use the dashboard to view low stock alerts, expiring products, and recent sales.
- Go to Stocks to add products, update stock quantities, and edit product information.
- Go to Receipts to check receipt history and supplier contact information.
- In the supplier section, type the supplier name and contact number, then click Add Contact to save a new supplier.
- Use the account section to create or edit user accounts:
- For a new account, fill in the username, password, and role on the create account panel.
- To edit an existing account, select it from the list, change the username or password, and click Save Changes.
Hint: Managers should not delete their own account while logged in.
